ABOUT DARCY VESCIO
Darcy Vescio is an Australian creative and footballer. Originally from a farm outside of Wangaratta, Darcy moved to Melbourne to pursue a career in design. After finishing the first year of their bachelor of Communication Design, Darcy transferred to Furniture Design. They completed this associate degree in 2015 and have been working as an AFLW player since 2017. It’s fantastic that they were able to apply their furniture degree directly to the football field. Some questioned whether it were appropriate to carry a sharp chisel in their sock during games but Darcy insists it helps.
